Commitment to the finest, rarest craft beers has been an integral part of The Tribes’ DNA from the very beginning—even when we stood as the lone south suburban craft beer outpost. As the craft beer movement grew and The Tribes grew right along with it—we opened our second location in 2012, and offered over 100 taps across both locations.

Our love and deep knowledge of craft beer led us to our next logical step: brewing! We opened the Tribes Beer Company at our Mokena location in 2015.

Brewery owner Niall Freyne’s views regarding the style of beer the Tribes Beer Company makes are simple: hop forward, beer that tastes like BEER, and beer that people order again and again. This doesn’t mean marriage to one particular style or flavor profile but it does mean devotion to approachable, delicious beer that excites the palate, and pairs well with food.

At Tribes Beer Company, we LOVE beer and we really love our beer. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t offer it to you. Have you tried our Daylight Kolsch, Craft’d IPA or Halcyon Days IPA?

Yeah. That’s just the tip of the half barrel. We are pretty proud of each and every beer we produce and serve our guests. Not only do we make a wide variety of delicious brews; we still bring you the rarest and best offerings from other craft brewers all around the planet.
